- Type of instruction
The education runs in alternations between lectures, group work, exercising practice, tasks, and reflection.
The learning activities planned are predominantly with emphasis on teaching and academic input in the first part of the day, and with emphasis on project work and tasks in the second part of the day.
Furthermore, there will be some days with guidance in the assignments.
The students work team based through the course.
Hand-ins and feedback
During the module Prototyping the student hand in and present together with the rest of the value-chain-team a solution to the given assignment. The student will be given feedback in an oral ore a written form from the lectures. The student will have to make a portfolio presentation of all the given assignments from Prototyping at the end of the first semester.

The purpose of the first-semester portfolio exam is to evaluate and assess the extent to which students have achieved the learning objectives of the compulsory joint courses in the areas of design, business and technology.
The student’s capacity

•to select three of the module assignments which are then expounded upon and put into perspective in relation to what has been learned, and/or describe the learning process

The exam entails uploading an individual portfolio in WISEflow, as well as taking an oral exam designed to allow the student to explain the portfolio in more depth and answer a question based on the syllabus.
•The digital portfolio must contain a presentation of all the module assignments in the first semester. Students then select three module assignments to describe in detail*).
•For the oral exam, students select three of the module assignments to present and explain in more detail in relation to the assignment description.
•At the exam, students draw a question based on the syllabus for the first semester.
For the oral exam, each student is allocated a total time of 30 minutes, including grading.
Distribution of time at the oral exam:
•Presentation of the portfolio with the emphasis on three selected module assignments: 10 minutes
•Questions: 5 minutes
•Question on the syllabus: 5 minutes
•Assessment and award of grade: 10 minutesType of assignmentAt the portfolio exam the student must reflect on the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the first semester. The student must produce a portfolio using InDesign, presenting all the exercises, assignments and projects they have worked on during the semester, after having reviewed them individually. This means that it is important to remember to save all the things the value chain team have worked on during the semester. The portfolio must be uploaded to WISEflow. Evaluation of the modul
The module is evaluated throughout the semester.
The numbers show the amount of workload related to the modul spread on different activities. On the modul Prototypnig you recieve 121,5 hours of education, corresponding to 162 lessons (1 lesson = 45 min.) og 30 % of your total workload on the course.
*KEA can depart from the specified hours, if needed under special circumstances.
In the subject Prototyping (EN) you will receive 122 hours of instruction, which corresponds to 162 lessons (1 lesson = 45 min.) and 30% of your total workload for the subject.
