The modules introduce the various genres of market communication and explain how to achieve synergies between them. For this purpose, students work with different forms of communication and the design of communication messages, focusing on relevant tools and processes in the planning of a marketing campaign. A key aspect is the important role played by online marketing in creating targeted, interactive and measurable market communication, while students also work with turning tactical action plans and selected marketing initiatives into tangible products.
The module also introduces students to ways in which companies can benefit – strategically, tactically and operationally – from creating universes from a semiotic perspective. Furthermore there will be a focus on building brand identity with focus on communication and CSR.

The teaching is a mix of lectures, supervision in workshops, teamwork, exercises and student presentations together with dialogue and reflections in plenum.
Furthermore there will be days focusing on researching in relation to topics within communication and communication platforms, the module assignment, based on a concrete case study together with a company.
The students will work in teams during the modules.
Hand-ins and feedback
Module 5 concludes with a sub-assignment, which is also included in the third-semester portfolio exam.
The subassignment is assessed as approved/not approved.
Module 6 concludes with a presentation for lecturers and case company. The presentation is evaluated with oral feedback.

•Questions from the examiner and the co-examiner
•Assessment and gradingType of assignmentThe third-semester portfolio exam features an internal examiner. A list of the assignments and projects from the third semester that are to be included in the exam will be available on FRONTER and in the exam outline. In addition, you will need to include a CV and put into perspective the knowledge you have acquired.

The exam takes the form of a portfolio exam, where the portfolio to be uploaded must contain the following:
•Presentation of all third-semester module assignments
•An independent reflection on the progression of the student’s learning and assignments completed within his/her area of specialisation, comprising no more than 7,200 characters with spaces
•The student’s professionally corrected CV.
