2022/2023- Formål og læringsmål
We will look at the strength of working with graphic design in a conceptual way to create a visual identity for a culturel event. And thus achieve understanding of the strenght of typography, images and graphic elemets, and why it is important to feel confident in one’s choice of design. Focus is on the process from concept idea through creative solutions to finished product and the conditions that must be met, if the result are to meet todays professional standards. There is always a demand for innovative visuel concepts, effective use of graphic elements, legible text, something a student of Design, Technology and Business is expected to deliver. In addition, the elective involves detailed work with visual identity in different levels. This elective module gives the possibility to go into depth with a concept based on graphic design solutions, for various relevant media.Different graphic products will be analysed in an attempt to sharpen students’ sense of what is meant by good graphic design.
