  • Type of instruction
Teaching in the cybersecurity program is conducted as a dynamic, interactive process, with a strong emphasis on the active participation of the students. The instruction is based on relevant professional practice and integrates theory with practice. Challenges from various types of companies within the IT industry are incorporated into the teaching. Students take responsibility for their own learning, and both they and the instructors contribute constructively to the learning process.

To ensure optimal academic learning and personal development for each student, the program employs a variety of pedagogical methods, with a strong focus on dialogue, discussion, and projects.

Teaching is organized in a diverse manner, including classroom instruction, guest lectures, company visits, group project work, and individual assignments—often involving interdisciplinary issues and always with a practice-oriented approach. In addition to the academic content, the different learning methods aim to develop the student's ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Common to all these activities is that KEA always strives to establish clear goals for the learning activities.
