- Type of instruction
The elective will be taught in a mix of lectures, group exercise classes, group presentations and field research.
This is an Applied Learning Project elective (Applied learning is primarily an approach that links the ‘real world’ to the concepts being taught in the classroom) and this elective is based on teamwork with group sizes of 5 students.
You will in these groups work on creating a business plan for your intra-/entrepreneurship idea and as a team, create a persuasive and convincing storyline presenting the final digital business idea. This prepares you as aspiring intra-/entrepreneurs to take a tangible step towards launching your own digital project/startup.
Feedback during the teaching period
Throughout the elective, the students are expected to participate actively in group presentations of their work.
In the exercise part, students will work in groups with the DE steps and present their work with these steps to the rest of the class. Immediate formative feedback is given by your peers and by the lecturer. Student teams will be selected at random to present how they have worked with the specific DE step from the last class (i.e., deliverable for the next week's class). These exercises are to give the students a hands-on experience based on their ideas.
The last exercise class is a formative feedback session organized as a student full day conference, where the groups present their preliminary work on their exam storyline to the class. Each group will be assigned as peer review opponent group to one of the other groups.
Before the exam, each group will get 60 min coaching and formative feedback on their conference presentation and business plans. - Exam
