  • Purpose and learning objectives
    Knowledge

    The student has acquired:
    An understanding of the practice, philosophy, theory and methodology of advanced 3d rpt and Additive Manufacturing in an industrial context.
    A development-based knowledge of essential 3d print methods, their pro’s and con’s and the economic and environmental consequences of use
    A development-based knowledge of the 3d print ’mind-set’ related to principles of construction of parts in a consumer and an industrial context

    Skills

    The student is able to:
    Assess practice oriented and theoretical issues relating to 3d rpt and AM with focus and relevant build parameters and business goals.
    Define and use a relevant technological outlook to assess new solutions, their potential for deevelopment and business goals on a short, medium and long time horizon.

    Competences

    The student is able to:
    handle innovative methods for solutions to complex part and product devellopment also set in a sustainable context.
    identify their own learning requirements and develop their own knowledge, skills and
    competencies in relation to 3d rpt and additive manufacturing.
    Identify a companys needs for AM, list relevant equipment and budgets and has confidence to take charge in executing the implementation
