  • Purpose and learning objectives
    Knowledge

    The student has acquired:
    An understanding of the practice, philosophy, theory and methodology of packaging applied in an industrial context and is able to reflect on sustainability and ethical issues.
    A development-based knowledge of essential practical tools for measuring impact of all levels of packaging in organisations, society and globally.
    A basic practical and theoretical understanding of packaging and its role in the global supply chains

    Skills

    The student is able to:
    Assess practice oriented and theoretical issues relating to packaging and sustainability in both a local and a global context
    Define and use a relevant system boundry for academic and practice oriented development of packaging

    Competences

    The student is able to:
    Handle innovative methods for solutions to complex packaging challenges especially set in a sustainable context and within the framework of a professional code of ethics.
    Identify their own learning requirements and develop their own knowledge, skills and
    competencies in relation to sustainable packaging
