- Purpose and learning objectives
The purpose of this module is to provide students with a basic understanding of what it is that contributes to an engaging narrative, both in writing and visually on digital media. The student is introduced to journalistic methods and rhetorical tools, story-building, linguistic nuances and how to angle a story and narrow it down to its core message.Knowledge
The module will also explore the visual part of telling stories - both in theory and in practice.
Throughout the module, the student develops an awareness of how different media and forms of communication can be used to create a story. The student also learns about some of the digital currents that characterise our time and age and point to the future.

-different communication strategies to build a bridge between the sender's message and the recipient's needs.
-aesthetic and design-related tools and techniques in the development process.

-disseminate professional issues and solutions to business partners with special focus on sender, recipient and choice of media.
-detect, decode and compare the cultural trends and connotations in society which the company follows and gives expression to.
-identify and compare the potential of new media platforms and solutions based on an assessment of trends and the development of society.
-select the right aesthetic tools and techniques for the development of the final product based on the elements of the concept.
The student will learn to:
-independently enter into disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration, taking a professional approach to the subject area of Communication design.
-design different communication products that take into account the concept's message and set of values.
-apply and defend anthropological methods for collecting relevant data and disseminate complex professional issues, also across cultures, in a well-argued and well-documented way.
-handle, combine and defend development-orientated tasks within design, idea generation, and development of communication solutions.

Teaching is a mix of lectures in class and online plus workshops and guidance. Students work in groups.
