- Purpose and learning objectives
This module focuses on communication design as a catalyst for change.Knowledge
The students must develop communication solutions that make use of visual, rhetorical, and designerly means to address the specific thematics of one of the development goals, with the overall aim of engaging the stated target group. The module draws on theories, methods, and concepts from various fields such as multimodal storytelling, experience design and exhibition design. In addition, students will curate the communication products that they have created during the module.
The student will gain knowledge about:Skills

-different communication strategies to build a bridge between the sender's message and the recipient's needs.
-theory, methods and practice in design, innovation and media strategy.
The student will get the skills to:Competences
-select the right aesthetic tools and techniques for the development of the final product based on the elements of the concept.
-assess theoretical and practical issues as well as justify and select relevant solutions and technology in design and innovation.
-apply, test and produce innovative methods for problem solving and dissemination.
The student will learn to:
-handle relevant development-orientated issues in design and communication.
-independently enter into disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration on innovative design processes.
-prepare written and oral future analytical presentations based on ideological, cultural and theoretical analyses.

The student must professionally discuss and critically take a stand on the process, method and theory.
