BIM (Construction up until 2½ floor) (EN)
2021/2022- Purpose and learning objectives
In the 2nd semester, BIM will introduce you to collaboration in the cloud, work with advanced BIM techniques, linking file from differing disciplines and create architectural and structural Revit families.
Skills
By meeting the objectives of this topic, you will have gained knowledge and understanding of:
• how to use Collaboration for Revit (C4R) to collaborate with other users on a Revit project
• how the functionality of C4R leverages BIM-360 makes Revit models and other associated project files accessible to all stakeholders, including internal users, clients, and other external consultants.
• use advanced BIM Modelling techniques to create Revit Families.
By meeting the objectives of this topic, you will be able to:
• Use Autodesk Revit in advance level linking different disciplines (Architectural and Structural) to the main central file.
• Use Collaboration for Revit cloud service (BIM-360), create central project Revit files.
• Use Enscape – a real-time 3D rendered walkthrough plug-in with live integration inside Autodesk Revit.
• Use Lumion that instantly breathes life into student’s designs with realistic trees, stylish effects and thousands of objects and materials from its content library.
• Demonstrate their projects using with help of 3D Glasses and 3D printers.
• Use VDC lab and its tools to virtualize the conditions of the existing project.
• Create fully parametric Revit Architectural and Structural Families.By meeting the objectives of this topic, you will be able to:

The teaching is based on the understanding that learning is most efficient if students are given the opportunity to work with real-life assignments from, or inspired by, companies in relevant industries.
When choosing a project, the possibility of incorporating the academic and professional challenges throughout the semester into the project must be taken into account.
The students are given the opportunity to be involved in the various project phases, from preliminary analysis to realisation of the project. In connection with the project work, the students are faced with real-life problems to be solved based on the given theory, and are to organise the work in such a way that deadlines can be met. The students are furthermore provided with the necessary qualifications to work independently, thereby preparing them to complete the final project as an individual assignment.
This working method allows the students to gain an understanding of how problems are identified and analysed, how solution models are set up, and how the right solution is adopted. - Subject/module requirement for
